Nocturne - Imaginary journeys
Sound projection on Alcôme's acousmonium in the Khmer Great Hall, Guimet Museum, February 03, 2018
5:00pm to 10::00 pm
As part of a project involving the Guimet Museum, the Tsuku Boshi label and Les Soirées Dessinées, musicians of different nationalities are invited to participate in the creation of a great sound fresco composed from the sound archives of the museum. A listening station of LPs from the museum's collection and an acousmonium from the Alcôme company lead visitors into the sound archives of the MNAAG.
Created from a selection of sound archives kept at the museum. During this event, a sort of sound journey within these archives, the order of distribution of the pieces will resume the thread of the trip of Guimet and Regamey. At the same time, five visual artists will draw live on screens, inspired by works from Felix Régamey's permanent collections and drawings held at the Museum.
